Decksmith – 3D renderer

Hi everyone! We wanted to give you a quick update on the work we’re doing behind the scenes for Decksmith. As promised, we’re well into the development of the customization tool, and we’re delighted to share a glimpse of the 3D rendering system that’s taking shape! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kV2HS6napAU In this video of our preliminary prototype, you can see a fully interactive 3D view of a deckbox for Magic: The Gathering. One of the main features we’re working on is a color selector, which lets you easily change colors among our filaments and view the deckbox from all angles. But that’s not all! The next major step is to enable pattern customization, so you can change the designs on the box itself and make it truly unique. What’s more, we’re fine-tuning the lighting so that what you see on the screen matches the natural colors of the filaments we’ll be using to make your customized deckboxes.
